GR Painters & Decorators were asked to undertake the decorations to both the external and the internal painting of a £200K full refurbishment of Mr. Stoker’s property on the outskirts of Ulverston.
Mr. Stoker stressed from the outset that money was not the deciding factor in his choice of who should undertake this work, but it was our attention to detail and the quality we had delivered previously while working on Mr. Stokers business premises. Externally we had specified an oil based masonry paint, which would last longer than the basic water based product.
External render was treated with a fungicidal wash before being pressure cleaned, spot primed, all windows, doors, gutters and down spouts were fully masked and then 2 coats of Johnstone’s pliolite Masonry coating applied via Airless Spray. Windows were coated with Johnstone’s Opaque water based wood finish.
Internally, the walls received a total of 3 coats, 1 mist, and 2 x Johnstone’s Endura Matt emulsion with ceilings being finished with white Johnstone’s Cova Plus matt. All oak wood has been coated with 3 coats of Dulux clear satin varnish.
